A few questions

1. Can you please post the minutes from the 7/23/09 Charter Committee Meeting ( I did not see them on the dowloads section).
2. Will you please post the PowerPoint presentations that were presented at the recent Town Hall meetings.
3. Will you please post the Next Steps - outline the processes (including goal dates) etc. that have been presented at the resent meetings, including clarification on the legislative process.

Next Steps may include, but are not limited to the following types of items

• Town hall meeting dates:

  • September 22 - APV

  • September 29  (spanish language meeting)- details

• XX Date - "Official/Formal" submittal of the Feasibility Study to the Legislature (confirm if this has this occured?)

• Tuesday, October 27, 2009, 6PM-9PM (Liberty High School)
  Polk & Osceola Legislative Delegation - Community Input Meeting 

• ________ (within X days/weeks of official recept of Feasibility Study/Request) Legislative Delegations has to decide if they want to sponsor a bill to allow residents to vote on the proposed incorporation? 

Please clarify... If No...Next steps?  If YES, next steps...

If NO, Legislative Delegation does not support putting a bill forward the incorporation Process ends here

If YES, Legislative Delegation support sputting a Bill forward to allow the vote on the proposed incorporation.

• ________ Legislature makes final decision on bill (process & time frame)

 

IF No, process ends here, until someone else pursues feasiblity submittal?

IF YES from Legislature - please clarify next steps (dates & Processes, etc.)

• November X, 2010 - Residents have oppurtunity to vote for or against the proposed incorporation.

• March X,  2011 - Residents have opportunity to vote for local Mayor and Commissioners

• Next Steps....

I don't see where any of my questions have formally been answered.  Some of the next steps questions have been partially answered in portions of other blogs, but no formal response  to my questions nor any updates in the form of updated downloads.

It is not unreasonable to add this information [formal responses, PPT Presentation, Minutes, and a next steps schedule] to the downloads section of this website in an effort to better facilitiate communication with the residents of the Poinciana Area.
